Direct to Garment (DTG) is a relatively new method of garment printing. It is a print unit which combines bubble jet technology with an ink system that has been developed for fabric. The design is sent directly from computer to the DTG printer and printed directly to the garment.
Print images can be full colour and in greater detail than screen printing or embroidery. Because the printer can print any image, customisation is simple. One off images are possible. Cotton t-shirts are the most suitable garment for this type of print.
